Money 20/20: Turning a Conference Booth Into 1,968 Pieces of Content
396 sessions | 1,968 outputs | 373 shares & views
At a conference like Money 20/20, getting noticed is only half the job.
The experience also has to feel polished, on-brand, and easy enough to join when attendees have a hundred other places to be.
For Catalyst Exhibit's Money 20/20 activation, we built a branded photo experience designed to do exactly that, and create content that could keep working after guests walked away.

The Challenge
Conference floors move fast. Attendees are surrounded by booths competing for their attention, while event teams are working against tight timelines and very little room for error.
This activation also had another challenge: the creative was still evolving close to launch.
The experience needed to feel specific to the finance and technology audience, not like a generic photo booth dropped into the space. At the same time, multiple stakeholders, last-minute creative changes, vendor coordination, and load-in logistics all had to come together before doors opened.

The Experience
We built a custom-branded photo experience around the visual language of Money 20/20.
Creative elements were refined with finance-forward details, including dollar signs, growth graphs, and crypto-inspired imagery, helping the experience feel connected to the environment around it.
Before the event, OutSnapped worked through demos and user-flow reviews so stakeholders could see exactly how the experience would work before guests ever touched it.
Then we handled the practical side: build preparation, load-in readiness, partner coordination, and post-event delivery.
The booth wasn't just there to take pictures. It was built to turn a quick conference interaction into branded content attendees could take with them.

Why It Worked
It looked like it belonged there.
The creative wasn't pulled from a template. Finance-inspired visuals helped the activation match the audience and surrounding event environment.
The details were worked out before showtime.
Demos and user-flow reviews gave the team a chance to refine the experience before launch, rather than figuring things out once attendees arrived.
One interaction created multiple pieces of content.
Across just 396 sessions, the activation generated 1,968 outputs, nearly five pieces of content per session on average.
That gave each interaction more value than a single branded photo.
The experience didn't end when the conference did.
After Money 20/20, OutSnapped delivered gallery and download links and supported recap content, giving the team assets they could continue using after the booth was packed away.

The Results
Over the four-day Money 20/20 activation:
- 396 total sessions
- 1,968 total outputs
- 373 total shares & views
- Nearly 5 outputs created per session
For a busy conference environment, the value wasn't simply getting people in front of a camera. It was turning those interactions into a larger library of branded content.
